To open my heart to love
I pull back a living barricade
Break the walls, watch my yesterdays fade
And I think that the strings of my life
From tangled webs, have woven threads
Into portraits of you
To the things you said

The old days are gone
Faded and fallen and done
They have become
Of my passions the sum
Mend those fragments to one
This the way we have come
And our journey begun
Like the dawn brings the sun
Like the dawn brings the sun
